S/S 2012 - IN PRAISE OF SHADOWS

Suiting and confection based in Frankfurt Germany. Dress to impress

Inspired by author Junichiro Tanizaki's essay "In Praise of Shadows" discussing the traditional japanese aesthetic in contrast with change, the Spring / Summer 2012 collection depicts the collision of widely cut shapes and precisely tailored garments using traditional tailoring fabrics. "Beauty is not found in objects but in the chiaroscuro, the shadow play, unfolding between those objects..."
